This Bossier City, Louisiana, maternity shoot was so dreamy with a green forest, a stunning couple, dancing, smoke bombs, the cutest baby bump, and charming lanterns. I loved getting creative with Molly and Drew with our smoke bomb gender reveal to surprise their friends and family. They showed off their adventurous hearts by braving a storm of mosquitos and dancing in the midst of the (*spoiler alert*) pink smoke. Once it grew dark, the lanterns lit the way, as if to parallel the coming of their new child. Molly and Drew are such a beautiful example of Christian marriage. As we continued on, the feelings of love and respect were palpable. Molly addressed her beloved husband as, “my Love,” which melted my heart. “My Love, can you pass me the bug spray?” “Dance with me, my Love.”

Before our photoshoot, they gently put their son, Luke, down to bed with a sweet bedtime prayer. It was ended with blessings of grace for those experiencing poverty, their loved ones, my husband and I, and several others. Luke cuddled into their arms, resting in the peaceful surroundings. I felt it was the perfect way to begin our romantic evening adventure.
